Skilled skiers find a satisfying array of slopes at Dachstein West which offer enough variety for several skiing days. Amidst the soaring mountain scenery and 70 kilometres of slopes the skiers will surely not get bored. However more experienced skiers who long for challenging terrain will hardly find the suitable runs. Most slopes are of intermediate level, however they are rather plain and not very demanding. Quite striking is the fact that some of the trails are left ungroomed. Therefore winter athletes who love to ski off-piste can practice there without any risks. Furthermore we highly recommend the intermediate skiers to ski in the areas Zwieselalm, Gosau and Russbach due to the lift facilities higher uphill capacity.
