The skiing area Dachstein West is highly-recommenable for novices and families because of its many intermediate slopes which are quite easy to handle. Additionally the excellent kids-care will satisfy any family. For those who come from southern Germany the ski resort is perfectly located for a one day excursion. Snowboarders will really like Dachstein West due to one of the best fun parks the Salzburger Land has to offer. Solely the many tow lifts and often slow chair lifts are a tiny downer in this ski resort. The expert skier will certainly love the ungroomed slope “Törleck” and all the other difficult ungroomed slopes. To sum it all up in a nutshell this ski resort is the perfect destination for families and therefore deserves 5 stars in this category.
