„Davos Klosters Mountains“ – 5 ski resorts that delight!

Please note that:“Parsenn“ and „Jakobshorn“ are two sub-resort areas belonging to „Davos/Klosters“. Rankings given in this report concern the whole resort network (5 resort areas). This test report however concentrates on the skiing network areas „Parsenn“ and „Jakobshorn“. Detailed information on the skiing network areas „Pischa“, „Madrisa“ and „Rinerhorn“ can be found in a seperate test report („Pischa“, „Madrisa“ and „Rinerhorn“). „Davos“ is famous for being the highest city in the Alps and for snowsure mountains with skiable peaks rising to 2844 meters above sea level. Ski pleasure is possible far into springtime, particularly on the north-facing slopes. Getting to „Davos“ is easy. Coming northbound you take the „A13“ exit „Lanquart“ and follow the highway to „Davos“. At „Davos-Platz“ you’ll find a spacey but fee requiring parking lot. A 300 meters foot walk away you can enter the ski resort area „Parsenn“. The entrance to the resort area „Jakobshorn“ is possible at „Davos-Platz“ where you’ll also find a parking lot directly at the base area station. At „Jakobshorn“ you can either take the mountain railway up hill or the chair-lift. Should the place be very crowded we recommend you to take the latter.
