Resort Review Davos Parsenn Jakobshorn - Intermediate Skiers
„Parsenn-Jakobshorn“ – A carver’s dream come true!

The resort areas „Parsenn“ and „Jakobshorn“ certainly leave nothing to be desired for intermediate skiers. Fun facts are: versatile terrain, wide carving slopes and a truly dazzling view that will leave you breathless. Particularly the „Jakobshorn“, although the smaller oft the two areas, really enthused our test team. Noteworthy is the run „Moräne“, a slope that is every carver’s dream come true. The rest of the runs at the „Jakobshorn“, however, are all nearly as attractive due to their width. Only disadvantage at the „Jakobshorn“ are the out-dated funicular railways, where it can come to long delays on more crowded days. In this case we recommend to get to the lift early and, if necessary, to take the chair-lift. All those that prefer the ungroomed to the groomed terrain will really get their moneys worth in both "Parsenn" and "Jakobshorn". There is powder as far as the eyes can reach and an abundance of pristine mountain sides just waiting for first tracks! “Parsenn“ the largest of the 5 resorts at „Davos“ is a standout in terms of diverse terrain. But watch out: not all slopes end at (the base area of) a lift. Some runs require that you take the Rhaetian Railway back to the resort.
