Disentis is clearly not your typical beginners' ski area. But there is a beginners area at the base where beginners can brave their first shaky moves on their boards or skis. In the upper part of the resort, however, beginners will only find one long, „easy“ trail, leading from Lai Alv to Caischavedra. But the section of the trail between Lai Alv and Gendusas is just a cat-track. The rest of the trails could turn out to be too challenging for true beginners, including of course the black trail leading back to the base. Disentis receives 3 stars in the beginners category.
