The Disentis ski resort is a real insider's tip for all-mountain skiers and snowboarders. If you're up for it, you can ride from the very top of the mountain down to Caischavedra without ever laying board or ski on a groomed run. Almost every meter of snow brings with it an opportunity to set ski on some powder. Just be sure to be aware of the avalanche risk, and keep one eye on the lifts at all times to avoid the danger of having to return on foot. One black run graces the resort and takes you back to the base. But the reds alone will keep even really good skiers entertained for a day.
