The numerous red runs attract ambitious skiers!

Right off the bat, it's obvious from the trail map that this place is perfect for more advanced skiers.
Except for one black run and one blue run, there are only reds at Disentis. The run off of Pez Ault, the highest point in the area (9295ft/2833m), down to the base in S. Catrina (4026ft/1227m), can be covered from beginning to end without ever leaving the difficult trails. The area around Puozas, Parlets and Dadens is also host to nothing but reds. Advanced skiers and snowboarders with a penchant for powder runs will find them next to almost every single groomed one on Pez Ault (9931ft/3027m) and Fez Gendusas, where the opportunities seem endless. Disentis earns itself a respectable 4 stars in the Advanced category.
