Dorfgastein is well-known as a family-oriented ski resort. Families will be very pleased with the special offers which make the ski holiday go easy on their wallet. Fantastic ski and snowboard school programs which give the kids confidences on snow are offered beginning at age 4. If the parents want to ski on their own they can drop off the kids at the ski kindergarten. We recommend the family run which requires at least a little bit of experience of the children. For those who not solely want to spend all their time on the slopes there is a huge program of leisure activities offered including toboggan runs, the indoor swimming pool “Solarbad Gastein2, or horse-drawn sleigh rides.
