Due to great investments in regard to comfort, snow-guarantee, and skiing pleasure the ski resort Dorfgastein / Großarl is one of the most up-to-date ski resorts. This is confirmed by the second place that was awarded to Dorfgastein in an international ski resort test which was held by 220 experts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Dorfgastein received very good marks in the categories: groomed slopes, snow making, friendly staff, restaurants and ski schools. Modern lift facilities, very well groomed slopes a great program for families as well as the very nice atmosphere in the huts are facts which will make a stay at Dorfgastein a truly unforgettable one.
