Skiing at the border triangle

The ski lift facility at the Dreisessel hill is situated at the so-called boarder triangle (Germany, Czech Republik and Austria) between the villages Altreichenau and Haidmühle, which are both well-known tourist locations in the Bavarian Forest. The closest larger town named Waldkirchen is about 20 km from the ski resort. The base station can be easily accessed via a main road. Parking lots are in short walking distance to the cash offices (100m). At the time of testing we met surprisingly few skiers and snowboarders on the slope. Not only the low amount of visitors, but also the well groomed slope makes Dreisessel an insiders’ tip.
