At „Engelberg“ everybody gets his money’s worth: those who seek tranquility aswell as those who want to party. Numerous huts see to the well-being of the winter sports athletes and from the sun terraces of the resort you can enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama should the wheather be nice. The iglo and outdoor-bar alongside the transition ski lift „Trübsee Hopper“ is ver inviting. From a deck chair or a hammock you can enjoy the surrounding mountain tops.Should you however be looking for lots of sun you’ll have to wait for the right moment to take a break there. After having had a cheese fondue you can check out the neighboring (relatively short) tubing run. Should you be looking for the classic Après Ski go and check out the „Jochpass“ hut or the outdoor-bar of the mountain hotel „Tübsee“. At the end of the day the „Chalet“, located at the base area station oft he „Gerschnialp“ ski lift facility, where you indulge in the classic après ski hits and on the weekend let yourself entertain by a live band. Should you still not have enough you can head for the a 30 minute ride away „Luzern“ where you surely find something for every taste.
