A high end skiing pleasure!
This is the slogan of the ski resort “Falkert”. And in fact, “Falkert” belongs to the highest leveled ski resorts of “Kärnten”. As a result the skiing season lasts very long here, so that you can experience the white finery until well into april. You arrive via the “Tauernautobahn” A10, exit “Millstätter See”, along which you go on eastwards until after “Radentheim” and “Bad Kleinkirchheim”, where you turn off in direction to “Falkert”. If you’re coming from east or north you best choose the option to come via the federal highway “Bundesstraße” 95 towards “Patergassen”, “Bad Kleinkirchheim”. However, here is to mind that coming from the north means that you will have to surmount the “Turracher” height that can definitely become a problem in bad weather because of its extreme incline. At the end of the mountain road lies the small town “Falkert” where many parking options are given.| Final grade: |
