Resort Review Fellhorn Kanzelwand - Families
The „Kleinwalsertal“: a great vacation spot for families!

One thing can be said right away: Families should only check out the resort „Fellhorn-Kanzelwand“ with children who are already expereinced on skis. „Fellhorn-Kanzelwand“ is the largest skiing resort in the Austrian-German region „Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal“ and offers several category red runs for advanced riders. Your youngest one should therefore stay down in the valley. Here we particularly recommend the „Kleinwalsertal“ to you. In all resort villages e.g. „Mittelberg“ or „Hirschegg“ nicely designed parctice slopes offer themselves to your youngest ones. The only thing that is really annoying is the traffic passing through. Should you want to evade the traffic you have to head to the end of the valley to „Baad“(located at 1224 meters). Apart from that you’ll find a nice practice slope with two t-bar lifts at the base area station of the „Kanzelwandbahn“ in „Riezlern“. Skiing schools here offer courses which allow parents to also spend a few hours in the „Allgäuer“ mountains by themselves. The resort „Kanzelwand-Fellhorn“ offers ideal conditions for families!
