The idyllic winter sports area Flachau is small, easy manageable for beginners and therefore one of the best locations to take first steps on ski or snowboard. Four practice lift facilities which are situated right at the base areas are the ideal spots for beginners to improve their skills. Those who want to explore the rest of the ski resort should be truly satisfied with the easy slopes. Furthermore the novice will find 5 really broad easy slopes on the higher reaches of Flachau which are comfortably accessible via gondola or chairlifts. Beginners which have some experience can change to the intermediate slopes as they are in large part not too challenging. We especially recommend the slope situated right at the “Space Jet 1” lift facility. Our concluding remark: the ski resort Flachau offers a dazzling array of possibilities for beginners and truly deserves our highest award of 5 stars!
