Family realm „Flumserberg“!

The „Flumserberg“ resort in „Heidiland“ (Eastern Schwitzerland) lies hidden at a high-leveled offset of the “Churfirstengruppe” with the deep blue “Walen” lake at its feet. The lifts set off at three different levels: at the “Tannenboden” the children and starters bustle at gentle slopes, beneath of “Prod” and “Maschgenkamm” the enjoying skiers glide around and high up at the “Leist” the experts run riot. Reaching the resort is really easy from all directions because of its favorable location directly at the autobahn. Coming from Germany it is recommendable to follow the autobahn A13 up to the interchange “Sarganserland”. Here you turn off into the A3 with direction to Zurich. After only 11 km you leave the autobahn at the exit “Flums” and follow the signage directly into the skiing resort. If the road is snow-covered we recommend to leave the autobahn not till exit “Unterterzen”. Here at 421 m a.s.l. you find the second entrance to the resort. From the direction of Zurich the approach is even more comfortable: you can plainly follow the A3 till you reach the exits as described above. At both base stations there exist enough parking options that – untypical for Schwitzerland- even are for free. After a short walk over the parking area you reach the ski resort “Flumserberg” with all in all 65 km of groomed slopes(19 blue, 39 red, 7 black).
