Winter sport pleasures at Gaissau / Hintersee!
The family oriented ski resort Gaissau - Hintersee is situated near the provincial capital Salzburg. The easiest way there is via the motorway A10 (“Tauernautobahn”) in direction “Villach”. Then leave the motorway at the exit Hallein and follow the signs in direction “Adnet” and “Krispl-Gaissau”. You can access theski resort right in the village Gaissau. Another possibility to access the ski resort is at the base area Hintersee. In order to get there take the motorway A1 (Westautobahn) in direction Salzburg. Leave the motorway at the exit “Thalgau”. Afterwards keep driving in direction “Hof” and continue in direction to Faistenau - Hintersee. The parking lots are a short walk away (30 - 500m) from the cash offoce of the ski resort.
