For all experienced freeriders, Galtür has long been a household name, as you can find numerous untouched deep-snow slopes in Sector 04 "Heldenreich" (Galtür is one of the snowiest areas in Austria). Very brave skiers can even dare spectacular jumps over rocks on the Stamandli Trail. However, the current avalanche danger must always be kept in mind here as elsewhere.
But safety is also a top priority at Silvapark Galtür. For example, at the peep station near the top station of the Alpkogel cable car, you can practice using avalanche transceivers to learn how to act correctly in an emergency.
There are also four marked ski routes. One of them starts at the Breitspitzbahn.
