Does it always have to be the largest and most popular ski resort to spend the winter vacation at? We definitely say no! If you can abstain from big and loud apres ski parties Galtür is the perfect destination. The lift facilities are predominantly state of the art and waiting lines are pretty much inexistent. It doesn´t matter at all that the tons of party hungry people stay in 10 km off Ischgl and leave those in pursuit of tranquility at peace in Galtür. We can recommend especially famlies with small kids to head to Galtür at the head of the Paznaun Valley. It is an unequalled family destination in the region. One of the fiew places where skiing and untouched nature don´t rule each other out.
