Riding in Galtür predominantly means sliding down one of the three ungroomed ski routes and easy boarding on groomed terrain. The trails aren´t too challenging therefore especially novice riders get their moneys worth. The magic carpet lift at the base is just perfect for first turns on snow. Skilled riders get their share of fun on the terrain round the Breitspitzbahn-lift. A terrain park is located at the Klein-Zeinislift featuring some nice jumps and rails. Those who like to ride down pristine slopes have plenty of possibilities in Galtür. The region is known among rider for some really good off-piste boarding (naturally so for one of the snow surest regions in Austria). However pay close attention to the current avalanch situation before venturing into the wild! Galtür is more about skiing and riding and not so much about partying. So if you want party time with fellow riders late into the night you are better off elsewhere.
