Garmisch Classic – ski fun since 1926!

80 years ago skiers already road down the mountain-sides right above Garmsich Partenkirchen. Garmisch Partenkirchen is thus literally a classic among Germanys winter sports regions. Garmisch is of course also know far beyond Germany’s boarders due to the famous Kandahar trail which leads down from the 1719m high Kreuzjoch to Garmisch village on 700m. One of Garmsich’s advantages is its accessibility from all over Germany and the Benelux Countries. The highway A 95 takes tourists from Munich right to Eschenlohe from where the ski resort is only a short 15 km ride away on the national road B2. For those coming from the south it is most recommendable to travel via the B179 or via Seefeld and Mittenwald. At the Kreuzeck base, the Alpsitzbahn Gondola base as well as at the Hausberg ample free parking lots are located. A more convenient start to a wonderful day on the slopes is hardly possible!
