The ski resort Geisskopf offers excellent conditions for beginners in Alpine Skiing. Worthy of praise is the local ski school, that offers skiing and snowboarding lessons. At the center of the ski resort nice and easy slopes (Forsthaus descent I and II) are to be found which can be accessed by taking one of the two parallel t-bar lifts. On broad and safe descents, beginners will have enough space to take first steps on the snow. Also the more difficult (red) slopes should not be a big problem for novices.
