Although about 70 % of all slopes at the „Gitschberg“ belong into the red category and therefore rather appeal to sportive and advanced riders, we can yet also recommend the resort to beginners. All around „Meransen“ short practice slopes await those who want to do their first steps on skiers. Should you however want to check out the rest oft he resorts runs you should have already spent a day at an alpine resort before. Also there is one run beginners should in any case avoid: the category black run alongside the t-bar-lift „Sergerwiese“ (Nr. 204) will definitely overchallenge every beginner.
