Most runs at the „Gitschberg“ will rather appeal to skiers than to snowboarders. Boarders have to go without kicker, rails, tables and a half pipe as there unfortunately exists no fun park at the resort. Fort hat reason we can only warmly recommend the neighboring resort „Plose“ to freestylers. Freerider and off-piste fans will find a few powder runs, but as the resort is does not transcends the timberline conditions are not ideal. Beginners on the snowboard however make a good choice with the resort at „Meransen“. The practice slopes alongside the t-bar-lifts „Brunner“ and „Pobist“ are a great terrain to learn snowboarding.
