The ski resort “Goldeck” in the heart of Carinthia does unfortunately not belong to the prime selection of snowboard hotspots. Concerning the slopes the criticism expressed in the categories “Beginners” to “Experts” also hold true for the snowboarders. There are no special options for Freestyle riders. Neither a fun park nor a half pipe exists, which leaves the rider with a very limited variety of choices. In addition to that the numerous t-bars won’t make the snowboarders very happy. The only chair lift is reachable via a category blue run, which is not really recommendable to snowboarders.
