The ski resort “Goldeck” in the heart of Carinthia unfortunately does not belong to the prime selection of snowboarding hotspots. The downers pointed out to in the categories “Beginners” to “Experts” also hold true for snowboarders. The freeride options are meagre and a terrain park is just as inexistent as a half pipe. Which leaves the rider with a very limited variety of choices. And to make it all worse, there is but one chair lift to take you up and around the mountain which can be only accessed via an easy trail. The remaining slopes must be conquered by the numerous t-bars.
