Grindelwald-First: The perfect boarder resort in the „Jungfrauregion“!

The resort „Grindelwald-First“ is located at the heart of the “Berner Oberland” and is, with its 50 kilometers of prepared slopes, the smallest among the resorts in the „Jungfrauregion“. Westbound the resort is best reachable via the autobahn A6 via „Bern“ and „Interlaken/Wilderswil“. Coming eastbound (from Zurich) we recommend the A8. This route however will take you over the „Brünigpass“ at „Lungern“. Should the wheather be bad winter equipment for your car is necessary. Once you’ve reached „Wilderswil“ at the entrance to the „Lütschinen“ valleys, all you have to do is follow the signage to „Grindelwald“. At „Grindelwald“ you’ll find a few parking areas, however none that are located directly at the base area of the resort „First“. Should you not feel like waiting for the ski shuttle, you have to travel the last 200 to 500 meters by foot.
