Once you’ve reached the romantic village of „Wengen“ with the cog railroad you immediately realize why families will feel comfortable there. No hectic, absolute tranquility and kids can risklessly play everywhere. At the base area of the arial tramway „Wengen-Männlichen“ there is a wonderful kids park run by the local ski school featuring magic carpet lifts and nice practice slopes. Parents can check out the 110 kilometers of very versatile slopes. A highlight for young and old is a visit to the „Top of Europe“ located at the „Jungfraujoch“ ( You take the cog railroad!). At 3454 meters you can enjoy the breathtaking view off the Swiss alpine upland in the North and of the „Aletsch“ glacier in the South. The „Aletsch“ glacier is the longest glacier in the Alps and extend 12 kilometers all the way to the „Valais Canton“.
