For athlectic skiers the resorts between „Wengen“ (1274m) and „Grindelwald“ (1034m) are an absolute must. Between „Männlichen“ (2343m) and „Tschuggen“ (2521m) you’ll find lots of intermediate terrain. The two 4-passenger chair lifts „Läger“ and „Männlichen“ are the most comfortable ones you’ll find throughout the resort. Should the 110 kilometers of skiable terrain at the resort „Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen“ give in before your legs do, we can warmly recommend to the entire „Jungfrauregion“. Your ski pass for „Wengen-Männlichen“ is also valid for the resort „Grindelwald-First“. Should you be planing a longer stay we reommend you purchase the combi-ski-pass for the region which also included the ski area „Mürren-Schilthorn“. This ski-pass provides access to 213 kilometers of slopes. Spending a winter holiday amidst the most famous Swiss mountains „Eiger“, „Mönch“ and „Jungfrau“ is an unequalled opportunity. It is however advisable to stick to one resort a day as the transportation between the different ski areas is a slow-going matter. Switching for instance from „Wengen“ over to the region around the „Schilthorn“ will take you about an hour (You have to take the cog-railroad and the arial tramway). Furthermore you should pay close attention to the travel time of the cog railroad and the funicular railways so you do not bring about additional waiting time (up to 25 minutes possible!). Switiching from „Wengen-Männlichen“ to „Grindelwald-First“ is less problematic.
