Apart from the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites beginners are offered a large number of easy descents. Particularly the area “Seiser Alm” is recommendable to less experienced riders. Besides the runs alongside the lifts 6 and 7 at “St. Ulrich” and the category blue runs in the rest of the area beginners should also be able to manage the category red runs there. The lower region of the area around “Gröden”, directly next to “Wolkestein” is very suitable for first steps with skiers. Should you already feel a little safer on your skis there are many options throughout the resort. To check out all 50 category blue kilometers you’ll however have to master a few category red runs. As the transition between the two resort areas “Gröden” and “Seiser Alm” is a little tricky and time-consuming you should decide on one of the areas at the beginning of the day on the slope. Due to the great number of options for all beginners among winter sports athletes the resort gets the top grade in this category: 5 stars!
