Kids area and several category blue runs at the resort area „Goldried“!

The „Großglockner“ resort „Kals/Matrei“ offers 30 kilometers of slope in the category blue. Absolute beginner should check out the 3 short plate lifts and the kids area at „Kals“. At the „Matrei“ side of the resort „Goldried“ (Check out mountain map for more information) you’ll also find several nice runs for beginners, as e.g. the two short descents alongside the plate lifts „Landen I“ and „Glocknerblick“. Should you already feel safe on your skis the category blue runs 2a from the „Happeck“ chair –lift or 10 and 10a from the „Cimaross“ (2621m) are a nice options. To get back down to „Kals“ or „Matrei“ you however will partly have to take category red slopes. Should you feel uncomfortable with this just take the gondola down to the base area.
