The athletic winter sports athlete will find numerous descents at the „Großglockner“ resort „Kals/Matrei“ that’ll live up to their expectations. Additionally you’ll have a gorgeous view oft he surrounding mountains should the wheather be nice. The 64 „category red“ kilometers are evenly spread throughout the resort. The most enjoyable and longest runs are Nr. 14, 13 and 8 from the „Cimaross“, with 2621 the highest point of the skiing area. Nice as well is descent Nr. 17 alongside the chair-lift „Blauspitz“. Particularly carving fans will like this comfortably wide and long run. The afore mentioned slopes are however only a few of the many category red runs which are all apt tot he level of advanced skiers. Therefore the „Großglockner“ resort „Kals/Matrei“ achieves excellent 4.5 stars in this category.
