The snow park and the nice and comfortably wide 110 kilometers of slope which offer something to riders from every skill level make the „Großglockner“ resort „Kals/Matrei“ an interesting place for snowboarders. The beginner on the board is offered 30 kilometers of category blue skiable terrain. Advanced riders are offered 80 kilometers of category red slopes around the 3798 meters high „Großglockner“. Particularly noteworthy are the extremely wide descents at the resort area „Goldried“ (e.g. Nr. 2 or 5) or the runs from the „Cimaross“ (e.g. Nr. 14 or Nr. 8). Freeriders can either enjoy themselves at the snow park (not prepared at the time of the test) or go off-piste riding should there be enough snow.
