Resort Review Hintertux - Families

Ski school and 23km of easy slopes!

Evaluation Families: Hintertux: Evaluation: 3.5
Families at Hintertux will be happy to find a total of 23 kilometers of blue trails for their little ones to get used to their new ski legs. Particularly well-suited for the first ski-moves are the short trails nos. 15 and 16, which are located next to the tows Rohrmoos and Tuxerjoch and can be easily reached from the center of the ski area. In order to reach the other blue trails (incl. 9, 9a) beneath the peak of the Olperer (3476m), however, your little beginners will first need to get in a little practice on their skis or boards, since they'll probably have to take a more challenging red trail to reach them. The kids' park at Hintertux, „Gletscherflohpark“ is only open in the summer and in the fall. But there is a short baby lift at the base terminal of Hintertux, where your kids can have fun while learning how to use their first lift. Lessons are available at the ski school Tuxertal, which also has its own day care where kids up to age three will be in capable hands while their parents explore Hintertux's 86 kilometers of diverse trails. In the Families' category, Hintertux receives 3.5 out of 5 possible stars.
