Resort Review Hintertux - Intermediate Skiers
More than 50% of all trails are „reds“

The ski area surrounding the 3476m high Olperer is characterized by a well-structured network of challenging red trails. Forty-seven total kilometers of intermediate slopes set in a breathtaking glacial setting are just what the intermediate skier ordered - or what he/she would have ordered, had he/she known it was on the menu. Test your skills on Gefrorene Wand (no.4), Tuxer Fernerhaus (no.3) and Spannagel (no.2), which, like most trails on the glacial plateau, are directly and smoothly connected to each other, making even the longer trails (covering differences of up to 1000m in elevation) enjoyable. The Kaserer (no.11) and Kaserereck (11a) trails are also recommendable. Carving fans of all ability levels will find plenty of space to leave some wide tracks in the glacial snow on trails 9-12 just beneath Gr. Kaserer's 3268m high peak. Thanks to its practically perfect intermediate conditions, Hintertux receives 4.5 out of 5 stars in the Intermediate category.
