Eighty-six total kilometers of trails for boarders of all levels of ability practically guarantee a great day on the slopes. After a good snowfall, the five ungroomed ski routes (nos.1, 1a, 2, 13 and 13a) are particularly of interest, thanks to the great powder. The definite highlight, however, has got to be the ever perfectly-shaped Betterpark (for more info see www.betterpark.at). The boarder scene-renowned terrain park is a major attraction for not only snowboarders, but for newschool skiers as well, among others. With an easy, a medium, as well as a pro line, the park is equipped for winter athletes of all skill levels. The 120m long World Cup standard Superpipe is also a welcome challenge for the zealous snowboarder, helping Hintertux earn a very respectable score of 4.5 out of 5 possible stars in the category.
