For beginners the Hintertux Glacier is overtaxing but for experienced skiers it is definitely a very nice ski resort in Tyrol. In comparison to other glacier ski resorts, Kitzsteinhorn for insance where easy slopes are predominant, Hintertux has a great array of trails for intermediate and expert skiers. Desirable is a wider pallet for children and a practice lift for beginners. All in all though a beautiful summer ski resort, even if the voyage there, through the beautiful Zillertal valley might cost some nerves, due to the highly frequented road.
