The ski resort Hochficht is situated in the heart of the “Böhmerwald”, a low mountain range also called Bavarian Forest, right at the boarder to Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Ski resorts in low mountain ranges often provide many easy slopes. At the Hochficht ski resort five easy slopes (marked blue) are at the beginners` disposal. Moreover the ski resort features a baby lift next to the “Rehberg” descent. However this practice slope can only be accessed by using a t-bar lift. Therefore one should have enough experience in using t-bar lifts when visiting the Hochficht ski resort. Behind the base station of the chair lift Hochficht the so-called “Sunny Kids Park” can be found. Small kids and novice skiers can use the conveyer band to be brought to the top of this beginner-area.
