The idyllic ski resort at the foot the Hochficht mountain (1338 m above the sea level) is situated at the so-called "Dreiländereck", where the boarders of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic meet. The distance between the ski resort Hochficht and Linz is exactly 100 kilometres. Passau the next big city in Germany is 60 km away from Hochficht. The ski resort, which can be entered at two base stations, is very comfortably accessible via main roads, not liable to charges. The two base stations can be found above the villages Klaffer and Schwarzenberg, a few kilometres behind the German frontier. Large parking lots are in walking distance to the base stations.
