Hochkar: Valuation

During daytime skiers and snowboarders are faced with seven ski huts and restaurants to choose from. Hence every palate should be pleased. Nearly all restaurants are situated near the base station of Almlift IV (please check the trail map). If you like hearty meals and traditional mountain restaurants the “Hochkarhof”, the “ÖTK-Schutzhaus” or the “Gasthaus Blaumaier” restaurant is the best place to enjoy a short break. A little bit above the base station of the “Almlift” après ski fans can find a modern (and relatively loud) après ski spot: The “Syki”. Moreover at the base station of the double chair lift “Großes Kar (III)” a very rustic ski restaurant can be found. At the parking lots and next to the practice slope “Zagerlbodenlift” another après ski bar is at the disposal of all skiers and boarders. Unfortunately after the lift facilities close the party in these bars and restaurants ends soon. In the village Göstling in the valley it is really hard to find locations to party in the evening or night.
