Resort Review Hochkar - Beginners
Six easy descents and a nice practice slope at the Hochkar!

|
Altogether there are six very easy (blue marked) slopes with an overall length of 4.3 kilometres available at the Hochkar ski resort. This is a pretty good number for such a small skiing-area. The practice lift “Zagerlbodenlift (C)” can be found at the base station of the quadruple chair lift IV “Leckerplan” (please have a look at the trail map). Next to this lift a very gently inclining nursery slope with a length of only about 130 meters is at the beginners´ disposal. Best conditions are guaranteed for inexperienced skiers to try the first steps on skis there. If you´re already a bit more experienced we recommend the blue marked slopes 4a and 2, leading down from Leckerplan mountain (1782 m). The very long descent number 1, beginning at “Vorgipfel” (1770 m above sea level) and the slope number 10, which is of intermediate difficulty, are also not too challenging for novices.
