Also small skiing-areas can provide a nice array of slopes. The Hochkar ski resort proves this in an impressing way. Although there are only 20 kilometres of groomed slopes, these slopes are varying and meet the demands of all different ability levels. The ski resort obtained especially good evaluations in the family category also due to its suitability for families with kids of any age. Even a stay of more than a few days in this beautiful mountainside in the east of Austria is recommendable for families. All the others have to decide themselves whether 18 descents which amount to 20 kilometres of groomed slopes are enough for a stay of more than one day. A day-trip is recommendable for all kinds of winter athletes and skiers of different ability levels.
