Test report: ski sesort Hochkar - Snowboarders

A fun-park at the Almlift and a great offer of varying slopes!

Valuation Snowboarders:

Slopes of varying difficulty (6x easy, 8x intermediate, 4x difficult) are at the snowboarder´s disposal and meet the demands of beginners as well as experienced boarders. Moreover the fun-park at the Almlift provides free-stylers with a great array of kickers and rails. Unfortunately a half-pipe was missing at the time of testing the Hochkar ski resort. On the one hand the ski resort provides only 20 kilometers of groomed slopes and certainly is one of the smaller ski resorts in Austria. On the other hand there are some pretty nice powder descents next to the groomed slopes in case of fresh snow. If you leave the marked slopes please keep in mind the danger of avalanches. To all snowboarders who like very broad slopes we recommend slope number 4 leading down from the “Leckerplan” mountain, 1782 meters above sea level.   Read the whole test report ...
