Hochkönig caters especially to families and novices
With its numerous and often long and broad descents the large ski resort at the Hochkönig mountains guarantees winter athletes of almost all ability levels an unforgettable mountain experience. The breathtakingly beautiful view shall not be forgotten soon either. But the focus of the ski resort is without doubt set on families and novices. Worthy of praise are also the numerous snow making systems as well as the modern and comfortable chair lifts. The only criticism is the rather poor transfer from “Hintermoos” to “Hinterthal” where a bus must be used. Therefore we think the next investment should be a connecting lift facility between these parts of the skiing area. Still the ski resort is among the nicest in the Alps.
