Meeting Point „Hochwang“!

The skiing resort „Hochwang“ is located about 12 kilometers away from „Chur“ in „Graubünden“. Three autobahns take you to „Chur“: One coming from the direction of „Zürich“, one from Germany and the third one from „Italy“. Exit the autobahn at „Chur“. At the center of „Chur“ a small road sets off to „Arosa“. Follow the signage alongside the mountain road. First head for „Arosa“, then for „Fatschel“. Attention: Should it be snowing snow chains are indispensable to reach the base area „Fatschel“ (1515m) of the resort. At „Fatschel“ you’ll find several smaller parking areas. From there you have to walk between 100 and 300 meters to reach the base area station oft he chair-lift. The resort offers 20 kilometers of skiable terrain (8 category blue, 8 category red and 4 category black) and therefore rather counts among the smaller skiing areas in Switzerland. Among insiders „Hochwang“ is rather known for its freeriding qualities.
