At the skiing resort snowboarders, no matter which skill level, will enjoy themselves on the 45 kilometers of slope. To greenhorns we recommend the boarderpark with magic carpet lift alongside the “Hahntennen” ski lift and the 12 kilometers of category blue slopes. More advanced boarders can enjoy themselves on 33 kilometers of category red and black slopes. The wide “Niederjöch” run Nr. 9, as well as the FIS run Nr. 2 invite to carve wide verves into the snow. Also recommendable is the base area descent Nr. 2a which, thanks to artificial snowmaking, is also nice to ride under less good snowconditions. The descents between “Rotmoosbahn” and the “Zollberg” ski lift will also please snowboarders. Should there be enough snow freestyle riders can spend their time at the half pipe alongside the “Benni-Raich” run Nr. 3. Freerider will also find some nice spots: several accounted ski-routes (check out mountain map for more information) as well as some nice off-piste options (e.g. below of the “Rotmoosbahn”) will let all boarders hearts leap for joy.
