Plenty of variety for advanced skiers

More than 60 percent of all slopes in Hochzillertal-Hochfügen are marked as intermediate or difficult. This means that the ski area clearly focuses on the sporty pleasure skier. For those who want to carve their way down on wide "slope highways", we can recommend the slopes at the modern chairlifts Kristall-Express, Schnee-Express (both heated 8-seater chairs) and Mizunbahn. Especially early in the morning, you will find perfectly groomed and up to 100m wide slopes here.

In the Hochfügen sub-area, the runs tend to be somewhat longer. Since 2011, Hochfügen has been able to call one of the most beautiful black runs in the Zillertal its own with the black run "Obi Traudi", which means as much as Dare to go down. A steep gradient, the best grooming and a fantastic view over Hochfügen to the Zillertal Alps characterize this downhill run.

For all those who doubt whether the 90 kilometers of slopes are enough for a longer skiing vacation, it should be mentioned that the Zillertal offers a total of more than 500 kilometers of slopes spread over four ski areas. With the Zillertal Superskipass, which is valid from 2 days, you can use all the slopes of the Zillertal.
