Even though the skiing region around “Samnaun” and “Ischgl” doesn’t have a black piste to such an extent demanding as e.g. “Gamsleiten 2” in “Obertauern”, it all the same has pistes of the black and red category that should ask enough of an expert to prevent boredom. Especially the long black descents 34 and 35 next to the “Höllspitzbahn”, same as the intermediate descents 14 b and the ones next to the “Gampenbahn” aren’t to be scoffed at. On top, the expert can show his skills in alpine sport offside of the prepared pistes on extreme routes or natural bump runs. Altogether the “Silvretta Arena” gets four stars in this category.
