To families with kids, that try out skiing or snowboarding for the first time, we particularly recommend the blue descents around the “Idalp” or the area around the “Alp Trida”. At the “Idalp” there also is a skiing school for kids and three training lifts. Otherwise the resort offers mainly red and partly pretty demanding slopes so that the “Silvretta Arena” is better for families whose children are already experienced in the field of skiing. Other than at e.g. the “Schmittenhöhe” or “Saalbach-Hinterglemm” you’ll only find child-friendly attractions at the “Idalp”. Should however the children ot be absolute starters, “Samnaun” and “Ischgl” are definitely worth a visit. In this category the “Silvretta Arena” gets three stars.
