„Ischgl“: The best Après-ski in the world!
The beautiful mountain village “Ischgl” lies in the middle of one of the most western valleys of Tyrol, the “Paznaun” valley. The base stations of the mountain railways lie at 1400 m a.s.l.. Thanks to its altitude up to 2872 m and the splendidly constructed artificial snowmaking system lack of snow is unknown in “Ischgl”. The resort offers 210 km skiable terrain and reaches from “Tirol” until into “Samnaun”(Swiss). Coming from the East you best reach “Ischgl” via the “Inntalautobahn” A12, exit “Pfians”(“Paznaun” valley). Coming from the West you us the A14 via “Bregenz” and “Bludenz”. After the ending of the autobahn you continue on the speedway S16, likewise exit “Pfians”. After the autobahn ends its about 70 more km on the federal highway till you reach “Ischgl”. Attention: Don’t use the autobahn exit “Bludenz” because the “Bieler” height is closed during winter!
