Even though “Kappl” can’t be counted among the most famous resorts for experts and team skiers, pros nevertheless get their money’s worth! Even the best among skiers can find some interesting slopes on the hillsides beneath the 2720 m high “Alblittköpfe”. Highlight is the very difficult (black) “FIS race track” that can either be reached with the “Mardina” lift or with the double chair lift “Gongall”. Also quite enjoyable for skilled skiers are the black slopes 8, 7a, 9a and 3 (see trail map). Unfortunately, most of the intermediate descents are less demanding, so that we can not really recommend “Kappl” to experts. Also missing are a permanent training route or ungroomed terrain that turns into a bump run.
