“Kappl” is one of the most beautiful family ski resorts in Tyrol. It is easily accessible and its mountainsides face southwards which guarantees for sunny days on the slopes. Right by the mountain station of the “Dias quadruple gondola lift” a paradise awaits families and kids! The so-called “Sunny-Mountain-Adventure-Park” features child friendly lift facilities and slopes based on a rug system, a t-bar lift, an obstacle course, a skiing carousel and fairy tale characters. Also located here are the guest kindergarden (all-day care) and the ski school office. Child-care over lunch hour is offered at the “Sunny-Mountain” restaurant. Families that want to explore the ski resort together will find 35 km of easy and intermediate level terrain, that shouldn’t cause children any probems. Merely the 5 km of black (difficult) slopes, mainly located at the “Alblittkocpfbahn” and in the eastern part of the resort, should be avoided by families.
